A Heartwarming Story

This is an example of how volunteers make a difference.

For the birth of Veronica’s first child, Abagail, ten years ago, Veronica received an epidural and never walked again. She was 19 and suddenly a single mom with no way to care for herself or her new child.

We helped her to begin a business doing manicures in her home and found a sponsor so Abigail could study at HIBS.

Volunteers began to brainstorm for Veronica to have a real home because her home was a wooden box made of an old billboard sign.

Through the dedication and generosity of Art For Humanity supporters, Veronica will soon have a new home built with the labor of family, friends and volunteers.

This 47 second video tells the story.

Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, fewer than 50,000, meet these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.
