This morning, while on back dirt roads, typical of Honduras, I came upon what looked like a “gringa” hitchhiking. She had on the typical “hules”, the rubber boots the compesinos wear. Lucy is a PCV from Chicago. We had a great discussion before dropping her off on the main road where she is meeting a rookie PCV who will train with her. It is truly great what young people are doing to make this planet a better place. Glen Evans
