Director of Development
Joseph became involved with Art For Humanity in 2010, after an Internet search for international teaching opportunities led him to our website. In November of that year, he and his college roommate, Ira, went to The Leadership Center in Honduras to see if it would be a good fit for their families and concluded it was.
Joseph, his wife, Hailey, and one-year-old son, Micah, moved to Honduras in March of 2011 to teach at The Leadership Center (TLC). Shortly after arriving, Joseph became the on-site director and remained so for a year. Since returning to the United States, he continues to travel back and forth to Honduras to help run TLC.
Joseph’s education is in Industrial Engineering with masters degree in International Community Development, and he is now pursuing a Phd in Leadership that is focused on leadership development among undereducated communities.
Joseph and his family are passionate about helping others. Fund development for Art For Humanity is one way he is able to do so. His family lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
