—Ask churches, businesses & organizations to sponsor a used clothing drive.
—Volunteer for “packing parties” to sort and pack donated items.
—Solicit used computers, microwaves, shoes and other similar items.

100% of donations are used to assist the poor to help them selves. Most donated items are given directly to people we know to be in need. Very little is given away through third party organizations. The one exception is the Peace Corps. They are given supplies to support their projects. Occasionally teachers and religious leaders are used to give shoes to poor children who could not attend school otherwise.
