Good used linens are most helpful.

All sizes of sheets and towels are needed.

Bath towels are especially needed. A large bath towel is used as a shawl or baby blanket.  Many of the poor have no private place to shower. With a bath towel, they can wrap the towel around themselves and wash beneath.....which is a common practice among the poor.

Linens can be dropped off anytime 24/7 without notice on the front porch at 635 S. 25th St. Arlington, Va. 22202. 

No special packaging or sorting is needed.....plastic trash bags are fine.

We collect 12 months a year.....so whenever is good for you is good for us.

Groups outside of the metro Washington DC area normally send their boxes of linens via US Mail.  Postage is surprisingly affordable. Just fill the boxes very full so as to optimize space.

In addition to linens, we also need donations of good used spring and summer children/teen clothing as well as small and medium adult clothing. Toiletries, non-prescription medicine and canned food are also needed.

Your donations make a big difference in the lives of the poor.....the difference in being destitute and becoming self sufficient.
