Movies For Learning
Our goal is to immerse the students in English for most of their waking hours. In the evening while relaxing is a good time to watch movies thus continuing their exposure to English.
In thinking about movies to recommend, here are some things to consider.
- Clear pronunciation is essential.
- Spanish subtitles are very helpful.
- Movies portraying worthwhile values are preferred.
- Stories that inspire faith provide a double benefit.
- Movies that are readily available… unless you have a copy to donate.
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated and will no doubt be of help to students struggling to learn our difficult language.
The Leadership College is the first English speaking college in Honduras. Its mission is to provide the kind of leadership that can move Honduras to a brighter future.
